Chapter 1 — Meeting The Stone Brothers

GINA
“Fuck! You’re so warm.” Cassidy’s boyfriend growled, and she moaned again as I lay motionless beside them.
It was difficult waking up to two people bumping uglies right in front of you, but I was pretty much used to it at that point.
I could hear my roommate Cassidy moaning loudly, and I felt my breath hitch in my throat as a mix of disgust and excitement coursed through my veins.
How the hell was I supposed to get any sleep and be on time for school the next day if freaking Romeo and Juliet kept whispering like rabid rats two feet away from me the whole night?
I felt my eyes redden under the duvet as their moans increased before the man inhaled sharply, and it was silent.
I breathed deeply, finally letting my body relax before the ringing sound of my alarm going off had me snapping my eyes back on.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” I hissed, groaning and stretching to my feet to hurry into the washroom, grinding my teeth the whole way and knowing it would be just my luck to miss the bus!
“Hold up! Please!” I called loudly, feeling heat rise to my cheeks as I stumbled into class to find everyone looking at me, a mix of disgust and curiosity on their faces.
I bowed gratefully at the teacher, who had been about to close the door, and tried making my way to my seat, only for Irina Wolf to hurry past me and slam her bony ass firmly on my chair.
Shit, could I not catch a break from these hoes?
“C-Could you,” I started, feeling my fingers tremble on my bookbag as I struggled to get the words past my lips and my heart thundered inside my chest.
“C-could do nothing, get out of my space, Voldemort!” Irina snickered mockingly, and I bowed my head, trying not to let the tears fall through as I lowered my head, only raising it to look where the teacher was pointing and moving toward the brown chairs behind absentmindedly.
I was just about to settle when all of a sudden, the door flew open, and I caught a whiff of something delicious.
It attacked my senses, swaying me on my feet as I held on to the table to keep myself from falling. With the look of things, it felt like I wasn’t the only one feeling that way, so quickly, I whipped my head around, ignoring the cracking that came from my neck.
“Holy Shit!” Someone behind me whispered only because I couldn't get any words past my lips.
My heart stopped. My gaze dropped. They were here. The Stone brothers!
I watched as they strolled in like they owned the building, which I wouldn’t have been surprised if they did. They were the Stones, for fuck's sake! The King Alpha’s powerful sons.
My gaze landed on the first guy: Damon. Clad in all black, with a few buttons of his t-shirt undone, he screamed god.
A adonis who had just dropped from heaven. The gorgeous form of his hard body moved arrogantly as he raised his brilliant head of thick black hair to stare Mr. Wilson in the eye.
“You’re late.” "Mr. Wilson managed to say," trying to sound stern, but who was he fooling? we all could see the shake of his leg and how the marker he was holding was almost falling out of his hands.
“We had business.” rather than the guy my gaze was all intent on, the other guy spoke up, and that was when I looked at him. I choked. Thomas. If I had thought the first man was an adonis, then this was definitely a god.
I stood there, staring at them, watching the way Damon’s full pink lips moved and wondering how it would feel if he pressed his lips against mine.
To taste that tongue of his, how it would feel if his big hands, a man’s hands, wrapped around my small waist, all his weight moving on top of me...oh my gosh!
“Scram,” Thomas growled suddenly, and I turned my head to see that he was glaring down at me, his harsh baritone driving me out of my inner reverie, and that was when I realized I was still standing in the middle of the class, staring unashamedly at them, and he had just told me to Oh my gosh.
“S-sorry,” I managed to pull out from where my tongue had hidden and move shakily out of the way for the men to storm past, their earthy scent knocking the breath out of me so that my whole body tingled.
What to do? I couldn't possibly sit with them, next to their unsmiling forms, the whole class! I turned to walk back to the front before the teacher’s stern voice came again, almost as if he read my mind.
“Sit with the Stones, Miss Gina Stewart.” The teacher deadpanned, and I felt my eyes pop out of their sockets as I followed his gaze to the back seats, where Damon and Thomas were all sitting with their eyes following me intensely.
I caught a glimpse of Irina’s reddened face and pursed lips as I brushed past her fuming figure and settled between the guys.
“S-sorry,” I wheezed, not knowing why I was apologizing and swallowing reflexively, feeling my knees knock together with fear and excitement as I settled between Thomas and Damon, not trusting myself to breathe.
The Stone brothers were the hottest wolves in all of Wolf County; I was sitting between them!
If it was this terrifying being close to just two of them, I wondered how terrifying it would be if all the brothers gathered!
I fanned my hot face with my fingers, realizing I had been smiling before wiping the smile off my face and breathing deeply before turning to the hot nerd.
“Hey,” I wheezed at Thomas, and his bright hazel eyes startled me as they shone through his clear glasses.
Holy shit! He was looking at me! I could feel my shirt get tighter around my chest as my breasts swelled sweetly. A sweet feeling even I was surprised at.
The moisture in my mouth dried when I waited for him to answer before realizing with some shame that he wasn't going to and awkwardly turning my head to face the teacher.
Stupid Gina!
Crap! Why was I so stupid? Of course, he wouldn't answer me! He was a freaking prince while I was ratty old Gina Mina.
“Gina Minaa, oh my goodness, that's about the ugliest dress I've ever seen in my entire life!” Irina’s hot breath echoed in my ear, and I flinched, jerking forward and discreetly glancing at Damon’s chiseled side profile as he stared dead ahead.
No luck with him coming to my rescue then. Not like I expected anything in the first place.
How the hell had Irina gotten behind me? Ugh, I gritted my teeth, squeezing my eyes shut and wishing the bitchy girl with big ballooned breasts would just leave me alone.
“What? You think because you're sitting there you’re too hot to play with me?” Irina’s scathing voice made my heart pound frantically, and I faced straight ahead, not daring to turn my head as tears filled my eyes.
I waited for a few more beats before finally relaxing into my seat when I didn't feel her looming any longer.
That was until I heard snickers from the seats behind me loud enough to make the spindly teacher pause and frown.
”What the hell is all that fuss about back there?” He growled, and I could have sworn the man kept his gaze far from the Stone brothers and stared directly at me.
“Is that gum in Gina’s hair?” Their hushed voices drifted to my ears, and I felt my eyes snap open in alarm.
“GUM?” I screeched, patting a hand disjointedly to the back of my head and letting out a loud croak when I realized the hair on the back of my head was completely mottled and covered in gum.
“Holy Shit,” Damon’s raspy voice made my heart twist in my chest as I glanced his way to see him leaning over in his seat to stare at the back of my head, smirking. He was smirking at me?!
This wasn’t the time for this! Focus, Gina! I put my hand out to his face as though to shield him from the view before his beautiful green eyes snapped to me and I snagged the limb back.
The sound of my seat scraping backward as I stood set my teeth on edge, and I slapped a hand over my mouth to keep from crying out.
I was everything on Athena’s planet, but I wasn't some naive chum who would cry in front of sharks like Irina Wolfe and her mean girl crew.
I felt the walls in my head closing in around me as I noticed everyone was staring at me now, the porcelain of their teeth showing behind their palms before I fisted my bag in my hands, pushing past Thomas’ wild scent and regretting that they had to see me like this.
“Excuse me, sir,” I mumbled under my breath, holding back tears and not waiting for a response before I bolted out of the room, finally letting the tears fall.
I could feel heads turn to face me in the Academy hallway as I dashed across the glossy tiled floor, heading straight for the washrooms and hoping against hope that they were empty.

Chapter 2 — Its Rude To Peeve

GINA
“Oh my God!” I gasped when I opened my eyes, crying even harder when I saw my reflection in the mirror.
I looked like Shrek’s Fiona if she had a bad hair day. I don't know what the hell I expected considering I had no experience in cutting my own hair.
I clamped my lips shut when I heard footsteps coming towards the bathroom, wiping my tears and forcing a shaky smile at my red-faced reflection in the mirror.
I obviously could not return to class looking like this, especially with freaking Damon sitting by my side! One of the four hottest brothers in all of Wolf County!
I had an expectation to live up to for the moon’s sake, however ratty it was.
“That's it,” I decided to miss class when I came out looking like I was just drafted into the military with my luscious red hair shorn low enough that my white scalp peeked through the tufts.
I was about to make my way through the big double doors of the academy when the speakers crackled and Mr. Thorn’s weary voice announced my name on his intercom.
I froze, and so did my heart.
What now? What has happened?
Did anyone die? There wasn’t anyone left to die after my Ma.
The thoughts running through my mind were unstoppable. I didn’t move until I heard the Dean call for me one more time, and my legs pushed forward, and I was in the Dean’s office in no time.
“Mr. Thorn? You called?” I croaked, stopping halfway when my eyes landed on the exceptionally tall man that had been standing in the corner.
I must have made an embarrassing croaking sound as my mouth hit the floor because the man, who was none other than King Alpha Stone himself, turned to face me with eyes that felt like molten lava on my exposed skin.
“Y-Your Majesty,” I managed to squawk out as I stared at his chiseled tan face and the hard muscles of his shoulder that seemed to pop from his suit. A silky purple that seemed to bend around his hard body perfectly.
Goddamn, he was tall! Taller than his first son, Atticus, even! And not in a slender man sort of way.
I swallowed heavily when the Alpha’s fine eyebrows bowed over his hawkish green eyes and he motioned me to sit. Like it was his office and I was late for an appointment.
I paused to look at the other man and recognized the look on the Dean’s white face. It was a look from someone being intimidated.
“Gina,” the Dean sounded a little shaken.
“I’m sure you are familiar with our distinguishable Alpha Rivera.” He croaked and bowed again to the stern man, who just exuded grace and power. Dark power. The type that would snap your neck if it was angry.
It was fun watching the Dean try to appease the Alpha, but the fun was sucked away when the Alpha turned to me. My breath caught in my throat, and I nodded frantically, responding to what the Dean had said earlier.
“Gina Stewart.” Alpha Rivera didn’t flinch as he said my name. I froze.
Was this about my father?
Was I going to have to repay him for what my father stole from the treasury?
I hoped not. I bowed my head, unable to look the alpha in the eye.
“I remember your father.” His deep baritone was cold and demeaning as he spoke.
“However, Miss Stewart, that is not the reason I am here. I have heard good words of you from the people at the mines. I’m sure you’ve heard of my sons and their reputations. Due to their inability to keep their hands off of women, we’ve been unable to have anyone around to clean. The job is yours now. Starting tomorrow.”
“What?” I blurted, resisting the urge to bark a harsh laugh.
“Try not to be late; I rather dislike tardiness.” Alpha Rivera deadpanned, and I felt the moisture dry from my mouth.
I opened and closed my mouth wordlessly, feeling my chest seize up in panic.
“Goodbye, Mr. Thorn.” The Alpha said in a voice devoid of emotion, and with that, he was on his feet and gone, leaving the Dean to stammer after him.
“WHAT?” I wheezed in the Dean’s face. “What just happened?”
The Dean shrugged. “You got a job without applying. Thank the moon goddess.”
“Crap!” I croaked, clutching my chest and stumbling backward.
“What happened with your hair, Gina?” The Dean asked and I mumbled something about a bad hair day and stumbled out of the room.
My room was messy by the time I got back. My roommate had torn the place apart; I sighed and started arranging my space.
Picking up all her flashy clothes and tucking them in the right place and thinking about how my day had gone. Occasionally, when I walked past the mirror, I stopped to stare at myself.
I wasn’t bad to look at if I kept my eyes well away from my head.
A lot of people used the adjective “beautiful” for me, but I often thought they were pulling my leg.
I had long curly red hair that looked not so good now, blue eyes, and a curvy body.
Whenever I took her time to do my hair and my makeup, I looked like something from the front cover of a magazine.
But each time I walked past a mirror now, I sighed. My shoulders slumped and my eyes got dull.
I looked like what people referred to as shabby. My hair looked like I got into a fight with a mad woman. My eyes looked a bit swollen from crying so much earlier today.
After cleaning up my room, I fell to my bed and dozed off.
In what felt like minutes, I felt the warm yellow light of the sun scorching my eyelids.
I groaned when I heard my roommate and her muscular boyfriend going at it again, her obscene moans making my clit throb and quiver with need so that I ground my teeth in jealousy.
How the hell did she manage to get all these men? When I couldn't even get one damned boy at school to look at me?
The bed stopped squeaking suddenly. They both glanced at me. I held my breath, trying to still the flutter in my eyelashes. They were both quiet for a few seconds, then resumed their sex.
“I think you should go,” my roommate said to her lover, and I felt my heart beat faster in my chest as more shuffling sounded around me.
“You can leave too, Gina; it's rude to peep at couples having sex.” My roommate hissed, and I damned near bolted from my bed when I realized she had been talking to me.
I swallowed and nodded, gathering my shit before muttering a hasty “right, sorry.”
I was nervous, as it would be my first day working in the castle, living with the royal family!
How did my life take such a scary turn?
Hell, how the fuck was I supposed to cope with catering to not just one but four of the Stone brothers? And I still hadn't met two of them! Caden and Atticus!
I swallowed audibly, limping into the sleek limousine that stopped on cue in front of our small house, breathing a hasty thanks to the unsmiling chauffeur, and taking one last look at the run-down cottage house I was staying at before the car zoomed off.
At least at the castle, I wouldn't have to wake up to two people having sex.

Chapter 3 — Alpha Atticus

GINA
My fingers were cold when I pressed them to my mouth and greeted the uniformed driver, who only met my eyes in the mirror before looking away.
Odd. I leaned back into the lush leather seat, feeling silly and poor before peering out the window at the trees that flew past us.
Holy crap, I was really doing it, moving to the Alpha’s castle with nothing to my name but the old clothes in my rucksack!
“Oh my gosh, it's really happening,” I whispered excitedly. I felt lightheaded when the limo finally pulled up in front of the black towering gates of the manor.
I could see the gothic black castle that loomed up ahead as the car lurched forward again, and I gasped when I saw Alpha Rivera waiting outside with all his sons. All except Atticus Stone.
I shivered when the limo stopped right before their stern figures as they stood in their expensive suits, and I shakily stepped out of the car, cursing silently when my bag slipped out of my hand to scatter on the stone floor embarrassingly.
“Y-Your Highness, thank you again for the opportunity—” I stammered before his harsh voice cut me off.
“You’re late. Leave it. The chauffeur will take that...thing up to your quarters.” Alpha Rivera bellowed, his face like thunder, and I immediately stood, aware that all three of his drop-dead gorgeous sons were staring at me intensely.
“I believe you've met my sons, Damon, Caden, and Thomas. meet Gina; she goes to the academy and she’ll be your handmaid for as long as I deem it.” The Alpha barked in a voice that brooked no argument, and I heard the boys groan as if he had just sentenced them to death.
“We don't need a fucking babysitter father, much less someone who stole from us,” Caden growled, throwing me an icy stare that made me take an unconscious step back, feeling scared.
“Yeah, good luck explaining HER to Atticus.” Damon snickered, rolling his brilliant green eyes and storming away from us with his brothers as the Alpha appeared to contemplate his son’s words, and I wondered just how scary the firstborn was.
“Roberto!” Alpha Rivera bellowed suddenly once we were inside the lavish castle, and I jerked in surprise when the overweight man popped up behind me in a chef costume.
Were all the wolves in the Alpha’s castle lightning fast?
“Show the lady to her duties; I have much more important things to attend to. excuse me.” Alpha Rivera breathed, and I inhaled deeply, taking in his warm masculine scent as he swept past me and followed the robust man to a marble-covered kitchen.
I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life, with the white furniture and black glossy tiles that screamed luxury.
“Great! Start there!” Robert grunted, pointing me to a stack of slimy bone china plates that looked to be overflowing from the dishwasher.
“You're telling me you don't know how to use a bloody dishwasher? What are you? Some fucking cavewoman?” Thomas growled, and I winced and pinched my fingers in my skirt tighter, knowing my face was as red as a hot, plump tomato.
The three brothers had been sitting in the drawing room, mumbling incoherently and breaking into complete silence when I burst in like a bat out of hell, wheezing like a damned donkey.
“Un-fucking-believable, where does father get these ratty-ass maidens?” Caden growled, and I felt a stab of pain in my chest at his words when I realized his electric green eyes were glaring directly at me.
I swallowed heavily, the din of their voices buzzing like static in my ear as I tried to blink the tears back into my eyes before Damon stretched to his feet, knocking my shoulder back so that I almost fell to the floor in a heap as he pushed past me.
Did he not realize how strong he was? I wiped my sweaty hands on the apron, running down after him to keep up with his strides and unable to keep myself from admiring the straight line of his broad back and the way the shorts he was wearing molded over his muscles. Muscles that I could only dream of having wrapped around my body.
“Earth to Gina! Keep your head on your shoulders! Bloody hell, it's like I'm speaking to a damned child.” Damon hissed, and I felt my heart lurch in my chest before I immediately snapped my eyes to see his strong hands moving faster than I could follow the buttons.
“Do you understand?” Damon growled, leaning in to tower over me until I felt my head bobbing even when I hadn't followed a word he said, thinking instead of his lips, before snapping myself out of it as he shouldered past without another word, ignoring my stammering.
“Focus, Gina! You can't lose this job!” I cursed myself, slapping my hands to my cheeks until they burned, and jumped out of my skin when the Mexican chef with his shirt buttons stretched tight over his big belly spoke suddenly behind me.
“Gina dear, thank heavens you're here, take this up to master Atticus’ room, will you? It's the last suite at the top of the staircase; you can't miss it.” Roberto chirped in a voice that brooked no argument, dumping the covered gold tray in my stretched hands before I could think and turning back to stir the sweet-smelling ginger broth in the pot.
Crap, I had never even met Atticus before, but I had heard stories of the unapproachable Alpha that hated people invading his personal space.
Even his brothers dreaded going up to his room; how the hell was I supposed to give him his food?
“You can do this, Gina, come on!” I breathed to myself as I climbed up the staircase on wooden legs, feeling my heartbeat in my ears as the bone china rattled with each step I took that brought me closer to the imposing gold door and the very scary man that lived just behind it.
Alpha Atticus.
