Spoiled by My Nine Beast Husbands

Chapter 1 Somebody Please Save Me

"Dig it! Dig it out! Come on, give me that beast core!"

F-268, Astralis Forest.

The pond shimmered like glass under the afternoon sun. A female dressed in a combat suit

stood atop a beast as large as a semi-truck, her 6.5-foot-long blade crackling with blue

lightning. With one hard swing, the steel sliced straight into its skull, sending sparks flying.

"Ha! Rank 4 beast core!" she shouted, voice echoing across the trees.

Her grin was wild. "I'm rich. I'm freaking rich! Just one more of these babies and I can walk

away with nine smoking hot mates."

She hopped down from the beast's head, her sword still buzzing with static. One of the

creature's massive fangs hit the dirt with a heavy thud.

Emma Tibarn still recalled her first day in this world. Five years had passed, but it stuck with

her like a bad dream.

It had been the summer after her freshman year. She'd gone back to her hometown to drop

by her grandma's grave. Coming down the hillside, her foot slipped on wet stone. Next thing

she knew, she woke up in a place where nothing looked familiar. A pig with wings came

charging at her like some sick cartoon gag.

Lucky for her, a hunting squad had been nearby. They took her in, patched her up, and

dropped her off in the nearest city. That was when she found out she wasn't on Earth anymore.

She was smack in the middle of an interstellar empire filled with therians.

She had been just a normal human girl—tiny, weak, confused, scared out of her mind. She

honestly thought about smashing her head against a wall to see if she could reset the game

and go home.

Then, she learned one crucial fact: in this world, females were treated like queens.

The gender balance was insane. Way more males than females. Which meant females got the

red-carpet treatment—houses, stipends, and the best perk of all: the Beastmate System.

Once a female turned twenty-three and awakened her ability, the system would assign her

nine partners at once. Every two years, she got a new draft pick. There was no limit. If she

could handle the lineup, she could collect mates like baseball cards.

Emma didn't need a stadium full of people. Nine was plenty. She was small. More than that,

and she might not survive the honeymoon.

So, awakening was non-negotiable.The Intergalactic Awakening Division handed out Divine

Seeds for free. It was rumored that the seeds originated from the twin root of the Beast God

himself.

Therians who ate the seeds had a sixty percent chance of awakening their abilities.

The awakened therians were called "Etherians" and lived between 800 to 1200 years.

The unlucky rest? They ended up as Subtherians and only lived up to 120 years.

Emma had gotten lucky. Within a month, her lightning-based and water-based abilities lit up

like fireworks. Jackpot.

Then, the government relocated her from S-1231, the forgotten edge of the empire, straightto F-268. She figured she could coast—collect her allowance, live in a fancy house, level up

at a snail's pace, and wait until her twenty-third birthday rolled around.

Sounded perfect. Nine gorgeous males lined up to dance for her every night? Yeah, she could

live with that.

However, that dream quickly went up in smoke. She learned that matching worked by rank.

Low-tier females only got low-tier males. The higher your rank, the hotter your lineup. Some

low-tier males were... let's just say, ugly as hell.

Emma was shallow enough to admit it. She could deal with being broke, but ugly mates? Hard

pass.

So, she began grinding and hunting beasts.

To climb the ranks, there was only one way: crack open a beast or a Chitinid, a type of armored

insect-like creature, and claim its core.

Most female Etherians in the Empire had family wealth and backup squads to protect them.

Emma? She was on her own—no family name or resources to support her.

She had tried to tag along with other Etherians at first, but the moment they saw she had no

clan behind her—and was a rookie who'd only just awakened—they all backed off fast.

Nobody wanted the burden.

So, she had no choice. If she wanted cores, she had to march into the forest alone, face down

beasts, and take what she needed. Scary? Sure. Still, it was better than sitting around waiting

for a miracle.

It was pure terror at the start. Razor teeth snapping, claws slicing, and blood shedding

everywhere. She almost died more times than she could count. Yet ugly bedmates scared her

more than fangs and claws.

Five years later, she was still here. Scarred, tougher, and one beast core away from breaking

into Rank 4. That meant access to Ranks 5, 6, and possibly even 7 male Etherians. She'd seen

a Rank 7 male Etherian once. His face looked like the gods had carved it.

Just imagining nine mates like that waiting at home made her mouth water.

Boom!

A deafening crash snapped her out of the fantasy. Her beat-up Gravicar car jolted hard before

losing power and dropping to the ground like a rock.

Emma reacted fast, pulling up a water bubble to cradle the vehicle and lower it safely. She

jumped out, her sword already lit up.

A roar ripped through the forest. A blond male stumbled out, drenched in blood, barely

outrunning the beast behind him.

Her eyes remained locked on the beast, which resembled a giant rhino—four times larger—

with a blazing red-hot horn and flames blasting from its maw.

Perfect! A Rank 4 beast. Emma smirked. Well, aren't you a blessing?

She charged.

The blond male froze, stunned. A female?! Here?

"You—" He gasped, but she was already moving.

Her water bubble surged forward, sparks exploding into a thousand tiny blades that ripped

through the beast's hide. The creature screamed, shaking the ground. Emma shot up on a

water column, her sword swelling with lightning. She came down like a thunderstrike, splitting

its skull wide open.Five seconds later, the beast crashed to the ground, headless.

The blond male, Kael Auris, couldn't believe what he was seeing. A petite woman, barely five

feet tall, standing over a dead beast four times the size of a rhino. Fierce didn't even cover it.

Before he could get a word out, Emma had already pried the beast core out of its skull,

stripped the hide, bones, and meat, and packed everything into her Stasis Band—business as

usual.

Between the beast core and the materials, she was set to pocket another small fortune. Her

grin widened. Oh yeah, today's the jackpot. That's another 100,000 star coins, easy.

She finally turned to Kael. He had collapsed on the dirt, one arm bent at a sick angle, blood

crusted over his face.

Emma frowned and prodded his leg with her boot. "Hey. You breathing? Need a hand?"His

eyelids slowly fluttered open. With a trembling good hand, he raised it gradually, palm facing

upward. Resting in his hand was a glowing Rank 3 beast core.

"Save me..."

Smart. Always pay first. Emma pocketed the beast core, fished a healing potion out of her

Stasis Band, and pressed it to his lips.

"This is all I've got. Please don't die on me. I'll patch the Gravicar and get you to a hospital."

She had no clue what disaster he'd stumbled into. It didn't matter, though—a deal was a deal.

She fixed the Gravicar with practiced ease, hauled him into the seat, and sped out of Astralis

Forest.

Chapter 2 Getting Nine Husbands

Three days later, Emma strolled out of her training room, grinning like she'd just hit the jackpot.

She had just broken through to Rank 4. She practically skipped to her room, grabbed a quick

shower, threw on clean clothes, and sprinted to her Gravicar.

The timing couldn't have been sweeter.

Right after she broke through, her lightcore buzzed with a system alert.

'Dear Ms. Emma Tibarn, this is a system notice. You've turned twenty-three today. Please

report to the Imperial Female Consort Pavilion in F-268 before 5 p.m. for mate matching.

Please be advised that late arrivals will result in a fine of 10,000 star coins, which will be

automatically deducted from your account.'

Emma smirked, thinking this was perfect. She decided to level up first and celebrate her

birthday afterward. It couldn't have been more perfect. Losing 10,000 star coins? Not a chance.

...

Ten minutes later, her Gravicar rolled to a stop outside the Imperial Female Consort Pavilion.

She slipped it into her storage band, adjusted her jacket, and marched in.

She kept three storage bands: one packed with beast materials, one for valuables, and one

dedicated to her Gravicar. Priorities mattered.

Inside, a staffer greeted her. "Ms. Emma Tibarn, your identity and rank have been verified. We'll need a drop of blood. Please place your finger here."

They held out a sleek scanner. Emma pressed her finger down, waited three seconds, and it

was done—no pain, not even a mark.

"Congratulations, Ms. Tibarn," the staffer stated. "You are now officially a Rank 4 Etherian. The

Beastmate System will assign you nine mates. Typically, they will fall between Rank 5 and Rank

7. In rare cases, you could be matched with Rank 8, 9, or even 10. Is this clear to you?"

Emma's jaw dropped. "Wait. Rank 9 or 10? Is that possible?"

The staffer gave a smile. "Rare, but yes."

Her heart raced. High rank means hotter, right? That part I like. What if I can't handle them,

though?

"What happens if I can't comfort a male that strong?" she asked, worry slipping into her tone.

"Don't be concerned," the staffer explained. "After matching, you and your matches have

three months to adjust. If either side chooses not to continue, you can file for dissolution. It's

designed to be fair."Emma's lips twitched. A three-month trial with a get-out-of-jail card?

Cute. I've been so busy chopping monsters, extracting their cores, and leveling up just to

survive that I don't have time to read the Empire's love manual.

She nodded. "Got it."

The staffer continued, "If you do succeed in three months, you'll receive the Beast God's

blessing. That means one million star coins transferred directly to you, along with your mate's

assets."

Emma's eyes almost bulged. Hold up. If one of them's loaded, I'm basically winning the lottery

overnight.

She forced her expression into something calm. "Understood."

The staffer wasn't done. "Once bonded, you will hold full authority over your mates. They will

depend on your mental comfort and gain strength from the effort you invest in their

advancement.

"In return, your mates are bound to remain loyal and assist you in reaching higher ranks.

Should they betray you, all you need to do is break their beast mark, and the Beast God will

deliver punishment."

Emma nodded along. She knew the rules but figured this was part of the formal spiel.

The staffer smiled. "We will process your matches now. Results will be delivered to your

lightcore within five minutes. All mates assigned by the Beastmate System have clean records.

For the first three months, you and your mates will only see each other's names, ages, and

contact information. Everything else will unlock once the bond is confirmed."

Emma almost laughed. So that's all I get? No job titles, no background, no hint of how rich

they are—just a name and an age. Honestly, it feels like opening a mystery box. A little risky,

sure, but also kind of exciting.

Ding. Her lightcore chimed. Emma flipped it open and scanned the new message.

'Dear Ms. Emma Tibarn, your nine mates have been successfully matched. Their contacts have

been added to your lightcore.'

She huffed. So the system just friended them for me?

Up until now, she'd only had five contacts—four merchants she bought gear from and sold

beast cores to, plus one neighbor who was ten years older than her and bragged about having

twelve mates.Nine new names showed up one after another, each with a blank avatar. Emma squinted.

Really? Not even a profile picture? This is starting to feel like a mystery box dating app.She

pulled up the profiles in the lounge.

Damian Voss, twenty-eight; Edric Lachman, thirty-two; Lucien Veynar, thirty-one; Silas

Hamblin, twenty-nine; Malrik Ashen, also twenty-nine; Corvin Draemont, twenty-six; Kael

Auris, thirty; Marcus Crowe, thirty-three; and finally Drake Smith, thirty-five.

That was it—just names, ages, and lightcore ID.

Her eyes stayed on the last one: Drake Smith. He was thirty-five, twelve years older than her.

Yet, given their lifespan of over a century, that age difference was hardly significant.

According to the staffer, these nine males would show up one at a time over the next three

months. She could either wait or start chatting with them online.

...

Meanwhile, over at Cloudspire Medical Center, Kael, a blond male Etherian, sat upright in bed.

His golden eyes filled with impatience as Adam Johnson, his assistant, just entered the room.

"Well? Did you find her?" Kael asked sharply.

Adam shook his head. "Mr. Auris, F-268's huge. Over 20 billion therians live there. Rank 3

female Etherians are rare, but there are still around thousands of them. Without a name or

ID, there's no way we're finding her in just one day."

Kael was the blond male Emma saved and brought to the hospital three days ago.

As soon as he woke up this morning, he had Adam go find her.

He rubbed his temples, frustration hammering behind his eyes. Why didn't I ask her name?

Why didn't I get her lightcore ID?

Oh my! Since I woke up, I've been thinking about her nonstop. That tiny frame, fearless,

tearing through a beast like it was nothing. And that scent... It's haunting me, poisoning every

thought, sticking to me like a curse. I can't shake it off. I don't even want to.

I have to find her and ask if she already has been matched. If she does, I'll take whatever I can

get. I'll be her follower, her shadow, whatever it takes.

"Keep looking," Kael ordered firmly. "We have to find her."

In their world, female Etherians could take followers. If a follower swore a blood pact and

stayed by her side for five years, he could become her mate. Five years was nothing for an

Etherian lifespan.Kael would wait fifty if he had to.

Ding. His lightcore chimed. He glanced down at the notification.

'Dear Mr. Kael Auris, the Beastmate System has matched you with a female Etherian at 4:35

p.m. today. Her info has been sent to your lightcore. You must visit her within three months.

Failure will result in a fine of five million star coins and a ban from matchmaking for one

hundred years. Voluntary dissolution carries the same penalty.'

Kael's jaw tightened. "Why now?"

"Mr. Auris, what happened?" Adam asked, looking surprised with stormy eyes. Internally, he

couldn't shake the thought. Mr. Auris really got played this time. He's not only badly injured

but also dropped to Rank 4... That's a humiliation he'll never swallow easily.

"The system matched me," Kael muttered.

He pulled up the info. His golden eyes flickered as he read.

'Emma Tibarn, 23, Rank 4 female Etherian.'The name meant nothing to him. Whoever she was, he didn't care. The only one he wanted

was the young female who had dragged him out of the forest.

Therians were simple that way. Once they fell for someone, that was it. No backups or

replacements; not even death could change their feeling.

Adam's eyes went wide, then lit up. "That's amazing! You're injured, and your mental power

is a mess. With her mental comfort, you'll heal twice as fast."

"I already have someone I want," Kael replied coldly. His decision was made. He forwarded

Emma's address to Adam. "Go find her. Ask what she wants to dissolve the match."
