Chapter 1 — The wrong dreams

Tory's POV
I sat on his bed and nervously licked my lips as he entered the big, darkroom. The only source of light in his room was the TV which was on for some unknown reason.
I have always dreamed of the day that Rex Holland would finally kiss me and more, it seems that day has come after all.
" Do you want me to turn on the lights?" Rex asked and I nodded my head, I don't quite know how he saw me or if he saw me at all. All I heard was his smooth chuckle as he sat beside me and slowly kissed my neck wrapping his hands around my waist.
My whole body ignited as his hands caressed my bra before he removed it and slid my top off. As I anticipated his lips locking with mine, a moan escaped my mouth as he kissed and nibbled on my nipple.
I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and fisted my hands through his hair and he immediately stopped kissing my nipples and rewarded me with the kiss I had so highly anticipated. He had said he wouldn't hold back and he was being true to his word as he kissed me deeper, and I tried my very best to keep up with his overwhelming passion because all I wanted now was for him to take off his clothes and make love to me all night.
As though reading my mind, I tried to take off his shirt but he took it off along with the rest of his clothes, relieving me of the task. I immediately straddled him while he moaned as I started grinding against his loins.
Clearly, he couldn't take it anymore so he stopped torturing me with his foreplay and we had sex.
Waking up some time later, the beautiful morning sun shined through the curtains and I smiled with my back against him when I felt his strong arms wrapped around my waist as he slept.
I thought that it would be romantic if I wake him up with a kiss, but when I turned around on the bed and leaned to kiss him, it wasn't Rex that was beside me and the person wasn't asleep but wide awake!
"I knew you're one of those cheap girls, so predictable," Nate said with a smirk on his face! And for a second, I glared at him as he sat up and ran his hands through his silky smooth, platinum blond hair but when he suddenly grabbed me and tried to kiss me, I screamed, telling myself that this was just a bad bad dream!
**********
I heard giggles and opened my eyes to find my eldest sister, Tia looking at me as she covered her mouth, shaking with laughter.
" It was a dream?!" I said as I heaved a sigh of relief and ran my hands through my now silky and glossy golden blond hair.
My mother had jumped at the opportunity to give me a makeover after I read my father's letter urging me to move on with my life and stop grieving his death.
" I know you're going to battle with the fact that I'm dead, but you're sixteen now, meaning it's been two years of grieving - that's enough time to grieve... Now you must make me happy and allow me rest in peace by doing only one thing - whatever makes you happy" I remembered vividly from his letter.
He died two years back, and I sort of morphed into a full time melancholic, wearing dull clothing and looking like a total mess half the time.
Now, all that is over, I'm ready to let loose and do what makes me happy. That would involve me making a few more friends, and most importantly do everything I can to win Rex's affections.
" Of course it was! I can't believe that you were having a sex dream!" Tia said pulling me out of my thoughts as she taunted me and I rolled my eyes. Like she doesn't have sex dreams.
" Please tell me she's still asleep!" Toni my older sister said as she ran into my room, holding her phone as she prepared to record me but unfortunately for her, I was awake. I scowled at her and she just burst out laughing.
" Oh Rex, yes yes!!" She said, mimicking me, I suppose. She was probably faking the whole thing there's no way I would've said that.
" Please don't stop!" Tia said joining in and she made a face that caused me to laugh in spite of myself.
Toni crashed on my bed, still laughing as she cleaned a tear from her eyes and took a deep breath so that she would stop laughing but when she got up to have a serious conversation with me about the whole sex dream thing, she doubled over, and Tia automatically started laughing again, I just ignored them and went to my bathroom to brush my teeth and have a bath. By the time I finish, they should be over the whole matter - I hope.

Chapter 2 — Ready to Blow their minds

Tory's POV
When I got out of the shower, I headed straight for my closet. Though, my mom made a few adjustments to my uniform, making it a lot tighter so that it would fit my curves perfectly, my old sloppy clothes were still in there. Even some of my dad's clothes that I used to wear where still there - thank goodness. I thought my mom would throw them out.
I took out the well-ironed, sparkling white sleeves and fitted black and white patterned skirts and put them on before I combed my golden mane of hair that fell just below my butt with wavy curls that gave my once pale face a striking glow.
I just applied lip gloss and a little bit of mascara for my eyes while my sisters watched me, obviously impressed that I didn't need their help. Honestly, it felt good to do this after two long years of wallowing in self-pity and " looking like I'm a zombie from a horror movie" like Toni put it.
" So, who was it?" Toni asked and I sighed, seeing that she won't back down until we talked about my dream.
" I don't know, Okay?" I lied. It was far too mortifying for me to admit that I literally was dreaming of that bastard called Nate.
" That's a lie and you know it, Tory," Tia said as she flashed me a mischievous smile.
" Ugh! Fine, It was - " I paused and my entire body was filled with goosebumps as I remembered my dream.
" Who?" Tia asked.
" I can't say it okay, just forget it," I said vehemently and Toni folded her arms and scowled at me.
" It was Nate," I said with a sigh because I knew I was gonna regret it but I had to discuss this with my sisters.
They didn't react the way I expected, instead of laughing at me and teasing me they just sat there watching me like I'm some adorable kid.
" Damn, dad's letter to you works wonders!" Toni said as she shook off whatever hypnotic stare she had on me.
" Seriously, the minute you got that letter, you finally agreed to let us give you a makeover and that's something we've been begging you to let us do!"
" I just had a moment of clarity Tia, that's all," I said with a shrug.
" Forget that, so Tory you're attracted to Nate?" Toni asked with a mischievous grin on her face.
" God no! Nate is not my kind of guy at all" I said crossing the air with my index finger.
" Then why the hell did you dream of him if you're not. Come on! Everyone knows that he's a total hottie" Tia said with an eye roll.
" Yeah, he's undoubtedly the hottest guy at school" Toni supported.
" Excuse you, that's Rex," I said and they both burst out laughing.
" Tory, Rex is hot, that's for sure but compared to Nate, he's like a baby hottie," Toni said, rolling her eyes.
" Are you kidding?! That's absurd." I said almost too loud.
" Toni, give her the stats," Tia said and they both shared a knowing smile and Tony started;
" This is a comparison of Nate and Rex's features. First of all;
- Nate is 6'4 while Rex is 6'2.
- Nate has striking green eyes while Rex has blue eyes, honestly, that's a fifty-fifty thing.
-  Seventy percent of girls admit that Nate's abs are their own conversation.
- Sixty-five percent of girls at school admit that they'd rather date Nate than Rex if they had to choose.
- Finally, ninety-nine percent of girls think that Nate's jawline is their religion. So, there you have it." She said so briefly that I barely even bothered to listen.
" You forgot to add that Nate is like the handsome Platinum blond bad boy Draco Malfoy while Rex is like the kind and sweet yet handsome good boy, Harry Potter,"  Tia said and they both laugh.
" And you know good girls like bad boys," Toni said, raising her brows up and down mischievously.
" Not me, there's absolutely nothing to love about that punk"
" Girls are you still sitting there whiling away time. Let's go already!" My mom yelled from the sitting room downstairs and we all scrambled to put our books in our bags.
When we started coming down the stairs, my mom who was dressed in an elegant, red gown flashed us a smile as she saw us all looking like we used to three years ago.
" Oh my baby, look how beautiful you look!" She said as she squeezed me in her tight embrace.
" Thanks, Mom" I said when she released me and hugged my sisters.
" Trust me, Nate is totally gonna kiss you for real today. It's not gonna be a dream." Tia teased and she and Toni laughed and I glared at her.
" I told you, I DON'T LIKE NATE!" I growled and they both stopped laughing, knowing I was starting to lose my temper. It was funny how they knew I had a bad temperament yet they piss me off all the time! Siblings...
" Okay, I like that you're talking about boy issues good work girls," my mom said to my sisters and they winked at each other, thinking that it was them who made me start talking about boy issues. Yeah, right, if it weren't for my father I'd still be the uptight Tory everyone at school knows.
" Brian!" My mom said and the handsome, young man came before us and greeted us all.
" Drive my daughters to school today and immediately it's time for the close of school, take them straight home, understood?!"
" Yes ma'am," he said as he flashed her a smile and opened the door to the black Rolls-Royce and we entered.
" Are you ready to blow away people's minds today Tory?" Tia asked me and I nodded my head and smiled.
I AM READY to blow away minds today- especially Rex's mind and Nate better stay clear from me if he knows what's good for him.

Chapter 3 — Memories of the past

Tory's POV
As Brian drove us to school, a memory from the past started playing in my head. It was the first time that I met Rex, I bet a lot of students don't know that I was the first person he met.
It was through the infamous "I bumped into you" method. His locker was directly next to mine and what happened that day was that when we were done taking out stuff from our locker, or maybe it's the opposite, I don't remember, we both slammed our lockers and headed towards each other so fast that we collided and I fell while he who was bigger than me stood there unmoved.
I remember being really pissed at whatever idiot bumped into me. Even when I heard Rex's smooth tenor saying "I'm so sorry, here, take my hand" as he tried to help me up, I was still so angry and I wanted to give him a piece of my mind!
A piece of my mind was what I gave him when I got up on my own and looked at him and was so overwhelmed by how handsome he looked that I blurted out "Damn, you're hot" . He cracked a smile that left me blushing as I felt a little embarrassed.
"And you're drop-dead gorgeous." he had said to me causing me to grin so wide that he laughed.
" I'm Rex, by the way, Rex Holland"
"Holland as in-son of Kayla Holland? The female protagonist of the movie-The Vipers?" I asked, obviously getting starstruck by the spawn of one of my all-time favorite celebrities. Rex was a chip off the old block, inheriting his mother's striking blue eyes and enchanting smile.
"Yes, she's my mother." He had said nodding as he put his hands in his pockets. Gosh, I even remember the clothes he wore. It was a white t-shirt with the words "so fly" written in some fancy calligraphy and denim trousers with a white pair of sneakers. It was that day, I could tell that he loved white.
" Wow, it's freaking crazy that I'm meeting one of my favorite celebrity's son. Honestly"
"I'm sure it is" he had said to me,as his eyes and mine locked for a short while and we both looked away.
"Uh, I'm Tory Williams by the way," I said, extending my hands for a handshake but he held them and kissed them before she rubbed it softly in a way that sent shivers down my spine and though it took a great deal of commitment, I didn't blush.
"It's nice meeting you" he eventually said as he slowly released my hands from his grasp.
" Same here," Isabella Costa had said interrupting.
Isabella was my best friend, my family and hers moved to New York, two years ago and we both got enrolled in Oakwood high. I was so elated that we didn't get separated due to our parents need to move from Florida but little did I know that our friendship was meant to crash very soon .
It was there and then that I got a call from my mom, informing me of dad's death. Like I said before, I had (and I still have) a bad temperament. I lost my mind and when Isabella tried to ask me what was wrong, I lashed out at her and told her to stay away from me.
I barely spoke to anyone, not even my family members during that time and I eventually ended up keeping it up for about two months straight that my mom had to take me to a therapist.
Thankfully, I started talking to my family members but I still didn't warm up to the students at school. The only person that I became friends with was Rachel, though she's not a loner like me, she didn't snub me the way the rest kids at school did.
When I was finally ready to make more friends other than Rachel, no one wanted to be friends with me. They were all avoiding me for some strange reason but Rachel still stuck by me and hung out with me.
As for Rex and Isabella, they never spoke to me again and it was weird because I expected Isabella to have known me by then that I was just going through a hard time but instead, she turned Rex against me and made him her loyal "best bud".
I, on the other hand, decided not to interfere with their friendship since they had gotten so close and also very popular. That's when Nate came into the picture and they became a trio that the whole school respects and admires.
All that was two years ago, I' m now in junior year so there's still time for me to bounce back and get my dream guy.
"We're here!" Brian said as he parked at the parking lot and turned off the car's ignition.
