Chapter 1

Twenty four years passed in the blink of any eyes; today, Alexa is coming back from London. She went there two years ago for her higher studies.
At first, Alex was not ready to let her go, but after long perusal and Alice's help, he agreed with conditions like she must have her bodyguards with her all the time, she should not be out of the house at late nights, and many more.
Alex was dying to see his lovely daughter; he was pacing back and forth and asked the butler, "Are all the arrangements done?"
Alice came from upstairs and said, "Tony, she is your daughter; why are you so worried?"
He held her hand and said, "Baby, you know I missed her so much in these two years. I want everything to be perfect, and I am telling you in advance that now she is not allowed to leave the house for so long."
Alice smiled, seeing her husband, who used to be cold and aloof, but look at him now; he behaves childishly when it comes to his daughter.
He remembered all of a sudden and shouted, "Where are your two idiot sons? Don't they know my princess is coming today? Why are they not here till now?"
Alice knows when it comes to his daughter, he will not settle for anything less, no adjustments.
Although all three kids are triplets and born in a difference of minutes, Alex and both Lucas and Daniel treat Alexa as if she is many years younger than them. She is the heartbeat of all three men of the family.
Soon the doorbell rang, and Lucas entered with his wife Catherine, they were in love from their college days, and after graduation, they both decided to tie the knot. Although Catherine was not from a very well-known family, but Alex and Alice never had any problem with that.
For them, the happiness of their kids was the first priority.
Lucas took over the business, but he looks more about the outstation work because Alex could not live without Alice even for one day.
So he stopped going on business trips long back, and Lucas was interested in business, so he started working with his Dad from an early age.
Lucas and Daniel had inherited Alex's personality; they were good looking handsome boys; any girl can fall for them in one look.
Following them entered Daniel; he didn't have an interest in the business. He wanted to make a career in bike racing; now, he is the number one bike racer in the world.
He inherited a few of his father's habits like being a playboy; he never believed in love; he was the biggest enemy Alex had.
Daniel is very close to Alice, and this is the thing Alex doesn't like about him; from the time he was born, he always takes away Alice from him.
Daniel entered the living room and hugged Alice and said, "Mom, aren't you tired of this old man till now?"
Alex was so angry, he said in a pissed tone, "who is old here? I can still make babies with my wife, and you stay away from my wife".
Alice nodded her head; this is a very familiar scene when Alex and Daniel are under one roof. 
Daniel was not ready to give up and said in a mocking tone, "Mom, you are so beautiful, how can you fall in love with this old man, I really feel that it's true when people say Love is blind".
Alex was fuming in anger by now, but suddenly a car sound; he forgot everything when he saw his princess standing on the door.
He rushed towards her and hugged her tightly and said, "Oh! My baby girl, your Dadda, missed you so much."
Alexa smiled slightly and hugged her; Daniel again came and said, "Old man, we also missed our sister, can you let her go. I want to hug my little Bunny" Daniel never calls Alexa with her real name; he had given her the name Bunny and called that only.
But Alexa didn't hug Daniel, instead, she ran towards Alice and hugged her tightly and said, "Mumma, I missed you so much."
Alice smiled, patting her back and said, "We too missed you so much, sweetheart, now our family is complete."
Lucas finally opened his mouth and said, smiling, "Princess, I am still waiting for your hug" Alexa left Alice's embrace and hugged Lucas.
Lucas is a very silent kind of person, he is a man of few words, but no one can beat him when it comes to business. He hugged her and kissed her forehead before letting her go.
Catherine was standing there silently, she forced a smile to Alexa and said, "Welcome home, Alexa."
Daniel said, "Bunny, this is not fair, you can't avoid me."
She smiled and hugged Daniel. He also smiled and said, "Bunny, now go and get some rest, we have a small get together in the evening as you welcome party."
Alexa pouted and said, "Brother, I came just now, I want to spend some time with you all."
Daniel smiled lovingly and said, caressing  her head, "Bunny, we will go for a night out after the party, so rest for now."
Hearing Daniel, Alex growled, "No, she just came, and she needs rest." Everyone present at the moment knew that Alex didn't want Alexa to go out of the house at night; he worries about her safety.
Daniel said in a mocking tone, "Old man, you have my beautiful Mom, why don't you hug her and sleep, and leave this matter to youngsters."
Alex was about to say something in reply, but Alice interrupted this never-ending war and said, "Can we all have lunch now?"
Alex held Alexa's hand and dragged her to the dining room; everyone was smiling, seeing Alex behaving like this.
Alex made his daughter sit on one side and his lovely wife on the other side.

Chapter 2

Everyone had a peaceful lunch laughing and chatting with each other. 
After lunch, everyone went to their bedroom.
The moment Lucas entered his bedroom with Catherine, she said, "Lucas, why don't we go to our home, and we can come back in the evening again."
Lucas stopped for a moment and frowned but didn't reply to her and went to the bathroom. Catherine stomped her feet angrily, picked her phone, and walked towards the balcony, and sent a message to someone.
After some time, Lucas came and said, "Cat, rest for some time, I am heading to study room."
After saying this, he walked out of the bedroom. Catherine doesn't like to come to her in-law's house, and she always felt that Alexa pampered too much.
She is jealous of Alexa because she is naturally very beautiful; she doesn't need any makeup to look beautiful, although she is of the same age of hers; still, she looks younger than her age.
And on top of that, everyone in the house over pampers her, which irritates Catherine. 
Catherine was not from a rich family; when she got married to Lucas, she knew that Lucas was rich, but she never thought that he was filthy rich. 
Lucas has given her everything a girl wants in her marriage, all the luxuries, she owned many limited edition cars, dresses in her wardrobe were only one piece in the world, but Catherine was still not satisfied. 
She was getting greedy day by day, she didn't want Lucas to have any connection with his family and divide his shares from the company, but this was the only thing Lucas never heard from her.
Lucas respects and loves his parents and his siblings, being a husband whatever best he can give to his wife he is willing to do that, but that does not mean he will become her puppet.
After Lucas left, someone knocked on the door and entered the bedroom after Catherine's permission.
A maid came in with a dress and said, "Mistress, Young Master asked me to give it to you to wear it in the evening."
Catherine looked at the evening gown; it was very beautiful. It was designed by the number one designer in the world; finally, her mood pumped up, and a smile crept on her face.
Lucas has arranged everything for Catherine from necklace to shoes to nail paint, hairpin. He was a very good husband. He loved Catherine very much.
Alex had asked Lucas to come to the study room after lunch. Once Lucas entered the study room, Alex was already waiting for him.
Lucas sat on the chair in front of Alex's working desk. When it comes to the bonding between Alex and Lucas, they are a pair of father and son who don't need to talk much about their issue. 
They can read each other's eyes. Once Lucas settled down, Alex said, "Son, if some decisions can bring peace in the family and lives, why not take it?" 
Alex knew about Catherine's intentions; he personally didn't like Catherine, but he doesn't want to play the villain in his son's love life; 
If he wanted, he could have killed her in one a blink, but he knows that his son loves her too much, but he also doesn't want to give him any family pressure.
So he is fine with the division of shares of the company.
Lucas replied, "Dad, let me handle it."
Alex smiled and said, "I trust you; actually, I called you because I am planning to take retirement."
Lucas frowned and said, "Dad, any specific reason for this decision?"
Lucas always admired Alex for his sharp business skills, and he always thought that he needed to learn a lot from him, but his early retirement was a little shocking news for him.
Alex smiled and said, "First is I want to spend my pending life with my wife peacefully, and second don't worry I am here for you as your backbone,  and you are already better than me in business, I trust you."
Lucas said, "I will respect your decision."
Alex said, leaving his chair, "Ok, so in the next six months, I will hand over the CEO position to you."
Lucas just nodded, and they both left the study together.
After leaving the study room Lucas went to his bedroom, the moment he entered the room, Catherine had just finished a phone call with someone. The moment she saw him, she ran in his arms and hugged him and said, "Baby, I love your present."
Lucas hugged her back and smiled, he pulled her head and kissed her passionately, soon the kiss went on, he slowly put his hands under her shirt, but before he could proceed in his actions, she pushed him a little and said, "Lucas, I am tired, I get some rest."
Saying this, she walked towards the bed and lay on the bed.
Lucas didn't say anything; he went to the other side of the bed and lay down. He had noticed that she tries to keep herself away from him.
He doesn't even remember when the last time they made love was? Every time she would make some excuse. Initially, he didn't think much about it, but now it had started bothering him.
He was a well-grown man, and he had his physical needs, and he was not the type of man who believes in cheating his partner, and he doesn't like unknown women touching him.
He is a man of strong ethics; he believes loyalty is the most important thing in a relationship. In fact, we can say that he is a kind person who had an old school thought process.
He didn't have any physical relationship with Catherine before marriage, even though they were about to get married.
Alex feels this quality of being loyal to your love Lucas has inherited from Alice. 
He didn't forget how Alice tried to keep her chastity for the love of her life even when she was not sure whether they would meet again or not.
Lucas thought that Catherine might be angry because recently, he was quite busy and not able to give her more time. He thought that he would try to wind up his work soon and go on holiday with her.
Alice was in Alexa's bedroom; Alexa kept her head in her mother's lap, and Alice was caressing her hair slowly. 
Alice asked, "Sweetie, what have you thought of doing ahead."
Alexa sat down in front of Alice and said, "Mom, you know it, what I want to do?"
Alice cut her off, "Ale, Baby; you know you, Dadda will never agree for that."
The disappointment was in Alexa's eyes, Alice continued, "Baby, I supported you two years back going against you Dadda, but now he won't agree."
Alexa replied, "Yes, Ma I understand."

Chapter 3

Alexa knew that her mother had already done too much for her, and her Dadda also accepted her request two years back. 
She knows how much her Dadda loves her, but he still lets her go for two years to study as per her wish.
She is thankful for her parent's understanding and immense love. She cheered up because she doesn't want her Ma to worry about her.
Soon Alexa dozed off in her mother's lap, feeling loving and comfortable. She missed her mother so much during these two years.
Alice gently put her head on the pillow and covered her with a blanket, and set the room temperature and left to the bedroom.
When Alice entered her room, Alex was already lying on the bed and reading a book. He said, "Come here."
Alice walked towards the bed and laid next to Alex, but Alex dragged her in his arms, he loves to hold her in his arms near his heart and said, "Baby, I am very happy today; finally my princess is back, now she will be in front of my eyes all the time."
Alice smiled and said, "Thanks, Tony, you let her go two years back."
Alex said, "You know, baby, I want to fulfill all her dreams, I haven't seen my Mom, but whatever I read from my Dad's diary, she is exactly like my mom, she gentle like her, she cares about others like my Mom."
"She is similar to what my Dad mentioned about my Mom in his dairy. Sometimes I feel like a reincarnation of my Mom, so I want to give her all the happiness that I can afford."
Alice knows how much Alex yearns for his mother's love. He often reads his Dad's red diary because he feels close to his Mom; he still spends hours sitting next to his Mom's grave.
He still dreams about her, that she is caressing his hair when he is sleeping. Alex always says that he can feel the presence of his mother sometimes.
Alice doesn't know whether it is true or just his imagination as he misses his Mom too much.
Alex felt like if his daughter is the reincarnation of his mother, he should try to fulfill all his daughter's wishes even if it is against his wish.
It was soon evening, and the guest started coming, it was a family get together so all the close friends and family were invited.
Mr. Morris came with Alice's mother first; they are very happy together. Mandy also came; he had arranged marriage and luckily got a good girl to carry on his life.
His wife knew about Mandy's feelings for Alice in the past, but she never made a fuss over it because she knew Alice and Mandy were not the people who would cheat their partner behind their backs.
And Mandy never avoided his wife; he was a perfect husband and a father. 
Lastly, Dylan entered with his wife and son; Dylan met his wife during a gang war; she was not part of any gang, she was passing by that place at the wrong time, and Dylan shot her by mistake.
He immediately took her to the hospital, and slowly during her recovery, they both fell in love and got married. They have a son named James Miller.
His son took over Dylan's position as a mafia leader. 
The moment Dylan entered he was about to hug Alice, but again Alex dragged him away and said, "Stay away from, my wife."
Dylan said, "Big bro, she is my sister," Alex snorted, saying, "but not real."
And they started arguing again; it is the same like Daniel and Alex. 
They both will always argue about their relationship with Alice; Dylan says he is not less than a biological brother to Alice so he can hug her, but Alex always drags him away, saying that he is not Alice's biological brother.
Everyone was chit-chatting when Dylan asked loudly, "where is our princess for whom we are here?"
Alexa was only a girl between Alex, Dylan, and Mandy, so everyone spoiled her to the fullest.
Just as Dylan finished his words, a voice came, "Uncle Dylan, I am here".
Everyone turned towards the staircase from where Alexa stepped down. She was wearing a flared gown, and she was trying to step down the steps in a hurry, and her steps tripped.
Everyone was stunned, thinking that she might fall, and they ran towards her, but James held her in his arms before she could fall. 
Everyone was astonished by James's speed. James was holding Alexa in his arms like she does not have any weight, he mumbled, which only Alexa could hear, "Still clumsy like childhood."
Alexa balanced her body and stood straight; she felt embarrassed. She doesn't know why, but she has a very different feeling when it comes to James. 
She saw him after two years, and they met in such an awkward situation. She kept her eyes down, feeling ashamed of her carelessness. 
She likes to be with James, but at the same time, she is scared of him. 
She wants to talk to him a lot, but her tongue freezes when James stands in front of her.
He has a great personality; he has a broad chest, eight pack abs, 6.5 feet in height. Alexa can easily hide behind him. They all were childhood friends, and they used to play together.
James was four years older than her.
But Alexa didn't have the guts to see in his deep black eyes. It feels like she will be lost in it.
Sometimes she feels that James wants to say many things to her, but he never said. 
Everyone heaved a sigh in relief when Alexa was safe. James walked away from her, and Alexa carefully got down from.
Everyone was talking and laughing; Liam Scot, son of Mandy Scot, joined the party a little late.
He hugged Alice tightly the moment he entered the living room. When Liam hugged her, she felt a burning gaze on her, but everyone was busy with their own stuff when she turned around to look.
